#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#CL2# Musa instigates a clinch. Carr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Musa taking a breather.#T1# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Musa stalls. Carr is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Carr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Musa has Carr pressed against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Malakai Musa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Musa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
Judge Wesley Smith scores the fight for Malakai Musa! Judge Cecil Peabody scores the fight for Malakai Musa! Judge Daniel Franklin scores the fight for Malakai Musa!
Malakai Musa wins by unanimous decision! |
