#R1# The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Almeida checks a leg kick. #TD# Almeida dives in and scores a takedown into Hester's guard.#SU# Hester is working an open guard so Almeida takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#CL# Almeida gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hester wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Almeida has him pressed against the cage.#BC2# Hester escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hester lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hester wants to clinch up but Almeida keeps it at a distance. Hester tries to clinch but Almeida is having none of it. Hester fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Almeida has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Thiago Almeida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Hester lunges at Almeida with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Almeida's hand. #TD# Almeida dives in and scores a takedown into Hester's guard. Almeida wanted to stand there but Hester had control of the position. #T1##SUB# Almeida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Almeida is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Almeida passes into half guard. Almeida works his way into side control. #T2# Hester is trying to buck Almeida off. Almeida is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hester's shoulder. That is not cool. Hester is trying to buck Almeida off. Almeida in side control lands a decent elbow. Hester is pushing Almeida's head away, looking to escape. Almeida manages to hold on to the position though. Almeida remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hester tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.#T3##SUB# Almeida has managed to slip his arm under Hester's chin. This could be all over... yep, Hester is tapping out! Submission win for Almeida.

#R1##CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Hester is trying to force a seperation but Forbes has the dominant position. Forbes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hester's efforts to push away. Forbes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Forbes. Forbes working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Forbes prevents Hester from breaking the clinch. Forbes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Forbes lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hester tries to break free but Forbes pushes him back against the cage. Forbes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hesters head. Forbes misses with a short punch on the inside. Hester pushes off an throws an elbow but Forbes leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes gets through Hester's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hester wants to get back to striking at distance but Forbes won't allow it.

Forbes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hesters head. #T1# Forbes working some nice short punches in the clinch. Forbes lands with a short shot to the head. Forbes lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Forbes lands a hook that snaps the head of Hester backwards. Forbes throws a head punch that misses. Forbes misses with a short punch on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Forbes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Forbes lands on the inside with an uppercut. #ROC2#Hester is rocked! Forbes working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Oh Hester is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hester blocks an uppercut.

Forbes has Hester pressed against the cage, preventing Hester from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Forbes unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hester! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Forbes is unloading with more strikes now! Hester drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
