#R1# Herrera connects with a right hand. Franco shakes it off. Herrera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Herrera misses with a hook. Herrera lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Herrera thuds his right hand into Franco's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Herrera connects with a body shot. Franco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Herrera as he jumps to the side. Herrera misses with a right hand #TD2# and Franco counters with a shoot takedown. Herrera fights it but they end up in guard. Franco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Herrera wants to stand but Franco is controlling the position. Franco trying to control but Herrera is working from the bottom. Franco landing some decent shots from guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SU2# Herrera is working an open guard so Franco takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Herrera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Franco circles away quickly and effectively. Herrera bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Franco's head backwards.#CL# Herrera takes the fight into the clinch. #T1##BC# Herrera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Franco takes one on the button. No luck for Herrera with that takedown attempt. A solid leg kick lands there for Herrera.

Oh, the punch misses and Franco has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Herrera manages to get his head free but now Franco has transitioned to an armbar! Herrera grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Franco! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

#R1# Franco stuffs the takedown. Okimoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Franco. Okimoto half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD# Okimoto drives through with a takedown into Franco's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okimoto distracts Franco with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#SUB2# Franco looking for a guillotine here but Okimoto defends easily.
Okimoto is working Franco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Okimoto won't allow Franco to get back to his feet. Okimoto postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Okimoto lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#SUB2# Franco working for a triangle but Okimoto defends it easily.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Franco is trying to get back to half guard. Franco takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
