Babineaux throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barbaric's waist but Barbaric gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Babineaux off to one side.
Babineaux tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barbaric swivels and escapes.
Babineaux shoots and misses
and Barbaric counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT2#It looks like Pierre Babineaux has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Babineaux. That's going to take a lot out of him.#KD2#
Barbaric cracks Babineaux with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Barbaric has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Babineaux to stand back up!
Barbaric stuffs the takedown attempt from Babineaux. Babineaux gets slowly back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Babineaux dives in and grabs Barbaric's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barbaric pushes down on Babineaux's head and hops out.
Babineaux doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barbaric counters with a huge left! Babineaux is in big trouble! He's backing up but Barbaric isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Babineaux from any more damage. A dominating finish by Barbaric!
