#CL2# Trevino darts in and clinches Maunders up against the cage. Maunders drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Trevino gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Trevino tries to pull guard but Maunders forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Maunders is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Maunders has clasped his hands together around Trevino's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Trevino managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Maunders.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee asks Maunders politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Benoit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Maunders. Maunders circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Maunders throws a hook to the side of Benoit's head but Benoit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Maunders throws an overhand right that lands on Benoit's shoulder, as Benoit tries to avoid the shot. #TD# Maunders shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Maunders wants to lay and pray for a moment but Benoit keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Benoit looks like he's trying to stand up.

Maunders has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones looking for a takedown. #TD2# Maunders has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jones clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jones covering up well under a series of strikes from Maunders. Even with his hooks in, Maunders manages to miss with strikes from the back. Jones is trying to stand back up. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
