#R1# Mcdowell fails with the takedown.#CL# Laurel clinches. Laurel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcdowell.
Mcdowell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Laurel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Brandon Laurel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevon Mcdowell. A nice glancing elbow lands by Laurel. Laurel scores with a knee to the head.
#TD2# Laurel is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mcdowell is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Laurel to the mat. Laurel regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Mcdowell with a flurry of punches that miss. Mcdowell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mcdowell lands a couple of decent looking shots. Laurel tries to strike from the bottom.
Laurel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Laurel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcdowell throws a big elbow that misses. Mcdowell scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcdowell distracts Laurel with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mcdowell preventing the sweep. Laurel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcdowell landing some decent shots from guard. #T1# Mcdowell works over Laurel with some ground and pound from guard. Laurel wants to stand and escape but Mcdowell is having none of it. Mcdowell working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mcdowell content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mcdowell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Laurel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Mcdowell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Mcdowell makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#ROC2#Laurel is rocked! Mcdowell loads up on a big left hand. Laurel felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mcdowell looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Laurel can't hide his disappointment, as Mcdowell celebrates the victory.

Laurel lands an elbow just above Riekkinen 's eye. Laurel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Riekkinen is defending well for now. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Laurel's guard. #T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Riekkinen working over Laurel with some ground and pound. Laurel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Riekkinen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #SUB# Riekkinen quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Riekkinen but it's paid off an Laurel is forced to tap! Nice work by Riekkinen.

#R1# Wegner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Laurel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.#CL2# Laurel moves into range and clinches up with Wegner. Laurel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wegner blocks an elbow strike. Laurel tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wegner avoids it. Wegner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Laurel with an attempt at a knee that misses.

#KD# Wegner cracks Laurel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wegner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Laurel to stand back up!#ROC#Laurel is rocked! Wegner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Laurel gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Wegner points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Laurel wakes up just in time to hear Wegner thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
