#R1##TD2# Bakes looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mccall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mccall tries to get out of the position. Mccall trying to keep a closed guard but Bakes is proving a slippery customer.

#SUB# Mccall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bakes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bakes controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Bakes lands a couple of digs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mccall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bakes's guard. #REVR# Bakes is working the butterfly guard. Mccall is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bakes scores with a couple of nice shots. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bakes lands a nice short elbow. Mccall taking some punishment here, with Bakes in his half guard. Bakes lands strikes from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. #R1##TD2# Amaral gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bakes works over Amaral with some ground and pound from guard. Bakes throws a big right hand that misses. Bakes landing some decent shots from guard. Bakes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#CUT2#It looks like Leonel Amaral has been cut. Bakes won't allow Amaral to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bakes landing with the ground and pound. Amaral is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bakes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amaral wants to stand and escape but Bakes is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amaral has momentary wrist control but Bakes slips an elbow through the middle. Bakes working some strikes from top position. Bakes is working Amaral over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. #ROC2#Amaral is rocked! Bakes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Amaral's head. Oh Amaral is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#T1# Bakes loads up on a big left hand. Amaral felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bakes looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Amaral can't hide his disappointment, as Bakes celebrates the victory.

#R1##TD2# Bakes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bakes working the strikes but Puapua uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Bakes looks to land a strike but Puapua avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bakes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Puapua controls Bakes momentarily but Bakes frees himself. Puapua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bakes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bakes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bakes throws a strike but Puapua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Puapua stands and throws Bakes's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Bakes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bakes holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.#T1# Bakes wants to control but Puapua postures up. Bakes is trying to work for a sweep but Puapua has mounted him! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Puapua controlling from mount. Bakes wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bakes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Puapua keeps control of the position as Bakes tries to break free.

Bakes controls Puapua momentarily but Puapua frees himself. Bakes is pulling down on Puapua's head to control his posture. #T4# Puapua passes Bakes's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Puapua is thwarting Bakes's attempts to control the position. Bakes keeps control of the position for the meantime. Bakes is trying to control but can't.
