Trevino shoots in looking for a takedown. Alro tries to sprawl out of it but Trevino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Trevino takes one on the chin but seems OK. #TD#
Trevino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alro tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Trevino has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alro is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Alro gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Alro gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Alro apologises and we restart here on the feet. #T1#

Trevino changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alro tries to avoid it but Trevino manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alro to the ground. Alro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Trevino should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alro has tightened it up now! Trevino should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Juan Alro was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
