Schafer is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rivera is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Schafer to the mat. Schafer regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Rivera has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rivera's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB2#
Rivera is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Schafer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rivera is looking to defend but Schafer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rivera! Schafer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rivera taps out and this one is all over!

Schallach pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schafer is out of range and Schallach settles back down.
Schafer shoots in and drives through. Schallach sprawls well.
Schallach bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schafer's head backwards.#CL#
