George tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Friendly manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Some bone on bone action there as George checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Friendly cracks George on the jaw with a powerful right hand and George falls backwards against the cage. Friendly follows up with more strikes that drop George to his knees. Friendly keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save George! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barnabus Friendly!
Barnabus Friendly decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

Let's hope that Murkovitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Murkovitch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T4#
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
