#R1# Cruz fails in his attempt to clinch. Horrible takedown attempt by Cruz or perhaps it was just good defense by Pushkin, which made it look bad. Cruz darts in trying to clinch#TD# and Pushkin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cruz's guard.#SUB# Pushkin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pushkin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pushkin wants to control from the top but Cruz keeps moving. Cruz is looking to stand up but Pushkin isn't so interested in that idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pushkin trying to control but Cruz is working from the bottom. #SUB# Pushkin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T1# Cruz is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Pushkin dives into side control.

Pushkin attempts a counter takedown but Cruz avoids it well and moves away. Terenti Pushkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Cruz. Cruz tries to clinch there but Pushkin circles away.
Cruz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pushkin's waist but Pushkin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cruz off to one side. Cruz is breathing heavily.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nice sprawl there from Pushkin as Cruz shoots in. Pushkin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pushkin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pushkin is in Cruz's guard. Cruz wants to stand up but Pushkin is controlling him. Pushkin stuffs the takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet. Terenti Pushkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Cruz. He's landed in Cruz's guard. Pushkin stops Cruz from standing up. William Cruz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Terenti Pushkin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.#SUB2# Cruz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pushkin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cruz.

#R1# Berg throws a combination. Cruz tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Cruz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cruz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Berg tries a quick counter leg kick but Cruz is wise to it. Berg scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cruz in his tracks. #CL2# Berg clinches up with Cruz and pushes him back against the cage. Cruz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Berg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cruz jumps guard but Berg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cruz is breathing heavily. Berg gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cruz.
Berg scores with a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berg works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

#CL2# Berg gets a clinch. Cruz goes for a takedown attempt but Berg pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Berg lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#T1# Berg walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cruz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Berg connects with a body shot that sends Cruz's belly button to the back. Berg dips to his left and cracks Cruz with an uppercut!#ROC2#Cruz is rocked!#CL2# Berg moves into the clinch successfully.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A short right hand to the side of the head by Berg.#BC2# Berg breaks the clinch.
Berg circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cruz to the canvas! Cruz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Berg keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Zeidmanis tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Cruz biding his time, looking for the opening.

It looks like Cruz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Zeidmanis trying to get back to his feet but Cruz is in full control for now. Cruz keeps control of the position easily here as Zeidmanis tries to buck him off.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SU2# Zeidmanis is working an open guard so Cruz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Zeidmanis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. William Cruz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cruz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cruz unleashes a big counter combination but Zeidmanis bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zeidmanis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cruz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #T1# Cruz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Cruz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zeidmanis sprawls well initially but Cruz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #SU2# Cruz stands up out of the half guard.
