Kooldfish lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kooldfish takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kooldfish dips a shoulder and cracks Mitch with a mighty uppercut! Mitch falls back against the cage and Kooldfish unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mitch is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kooldfish screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Terhonen checks a low kick from Mitch.
Terhonen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Terhonen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mitch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Terhonen tries to land a body kick
and Mitch counters with a stiff right hand.
Terhonen throws an overhand right that lands on Mitch's shoulder, as Mitch tries to avoid the shot.
Terhonen feints and then cracks Mitch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mitch down.
Mitch tries to land a front kick but Terhonen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Terhonen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mitch sprawling to the canvas! Mitch rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Terhonen finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Terhonen counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Fitzgerald gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fitzgerald throws a head kick but Mitch moves out of range.
Mitch appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Fitzgerald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mitch's waist but Mitch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fitzgerald off to one side.
Mitch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mitch defends well and Fitzgerald ends up having to push Mitch into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
