Stephens has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. He thinks about going to the ground but Stephens looks back up at him and smiles so McGuire waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McCoy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. McCoy lands with a right hand. Nice uppercut lands for McCoy. That snapped Stephens's head back.

Rivera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gallegos has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stephens tries to score a body lock takedown but Gallegos shows good agility there to stay on his feet. I was talking to Gallegos's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Gallegos is trying to break the clinch but Stephens is controlling him. Gallegos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stephens has him pressed against the cage.#BC# Gallegos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
