ODonnell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than ODonnell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mayer is looking for a sweep.
Mayer can't do much from the bottom here. #SUB#
ODonnell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mayer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
ODonnell has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mayer is in all sorts of trouble here.
ODonnell wants to take Mayer's back here but Mayer is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

ODonnell looking to break Mayer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mayer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise ODonnell will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

ODonnell is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Mayer has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but ODonnell has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Mayer taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. ODonnell doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Wade moves into range and clinches up with Mayer.
Wade is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Wade gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Wade seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mayer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mayer won't allow Wade to pass to mount.
Wade throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wade lands a nice short elbow.
Mayer tries to roll over but Wade keeps him under control.

Mayer is in a horrible position here. Wade smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wade cracks Mayer with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
