#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lutz is defended easily by Flynn. Lutz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Flynn defends it nicely. Flynn wants to clinch.#CL2# Lutz moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Lutz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Flynn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lutz eats them both and turns towards Flynn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Flynn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#T1##TD2# Lutz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lutz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU2# Lutz stands up and beckons Flynn to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Flynn jumps guard but Moreno turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Barren is trying to break the clinch but Flynn has him pressed against the cage. Barren looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Barren has Flynn pressed against the cage, preventing Flynn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Barren is trying to force a seperation but Flynn has the dominant position. Flynn is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Barren gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darian Flynn.
