Flash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Flash's face as he tries to break the clinch. #BC2#

Flash misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boulder changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Boulder jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boulder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Flash finds it's way round the side to connect with Boulder's head. #CL2#
Flash closes the distance and pushes Boulder back into the cage.
Boulder blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Flash working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Flash throws a punch but it's blocked by Boulder.
Flash blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Boulder trying to stall but Flash improves his position.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Flash takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Flash lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Flash digs a right hand underneath Boulder's ribcage. Boulder let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Boulder pushes Flash back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Flash blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Flash working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Flash stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Oh Boulder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boulder is breathing heavily.
Clinched against the cage, Flash lands a big elbow that drops Boulder! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Boulder is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jumping Flash!
Jumping Flash very nearly forgot to thank Tokzik Dope L.A. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Nimoy throws a nice looking combination but Boulder bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A combination from Nimoy does no damage.
Boulder feints the counter takedown.
Nimoy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nimoy tries to bum rush Boulder with a series of wild strikes but Boulder uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nimoy scores with a decent looking hook.
Nimoy ducks under a wild hook from Boulder.
A combination from Nimoy does no damage.
Nimoy misses with a wild combination.
Nimoy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boulder under the eye.
Nimoy throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boulder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nimoy finds it's way round the side to connect with Boulder's head.
Nimoy throws a right hand that Boulder ducks under and follows up with a left that Boulder also avoids with ease.
Boulder gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nimoy gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Boulder is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ruane fails to land the takedown.

Ruane with the counter takedown but Boulder avoids it easily.

A left and a right from Boulder both land. Nice combination.
Boulder swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ruane lands a head kick. Boulder smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ruane moves out of range of the leg kick from Boulder.

Ruane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boulder did well to prevent Ruane getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boulder tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ruane has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Rock Boulder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruane shoots in looking for a takedown but Boulder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ruane slips a straight right by Boulder.
Boulder throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boulder misses with a straight right.
And Ruane tries to counter it with a takedown but Boulder pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Boulder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boulder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boulder throws a right hand that Ruane ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruane also avoids with ease.#T1#

and Ruane comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Boulder stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Ruane is on him like rabid pit bull! Boulder slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
