Nesse shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Uno counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Uno will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Uno throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Uno jabs at Nesse's body. Nesse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uno is fending him off so far but Nesse persists. Nope, Uno circles away and we're back to standing. Nesse defending well as Uno loads up on a big left hand. Nesse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Uno swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kesse Nesse. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Gordon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Uno scores with a nice right hand.
Uno cracks Gordon with a good jab. Good standup being displayed there by Uno as he connects with a hook.#CUT#It looks like Ryan Gordon has been cut. A low kick lands for Uno.
Gordon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Uno paws at him with a jab and circles away.#TD2# Gordon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gordon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gordon works to advance to full mount. Uno defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Uno stops Gordon from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Gordon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gordon seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Uno is holding on tight.
Gordon prevents Uno from getting the reversal. Uno tries to lock up and control but Gordon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#T1##SUB2# Gordon has hold of Uno's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Uno manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Uno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Uno with a hook. No luck for Nesse with that takedown attempt. Uno scores with a slapping inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uno misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#R1# Nice defenses there by Uno. Doyle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Uno moves away. Doyle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Doyle misses the shot to the body. Uno throws a nice inside leg kick. A jab from Uno misses. Doyle walks into a jab. Uno throws a lazy uppercut
and Doyle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doyle misses the body punch and Doyle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Doyle ducks under a wild hook from Uno. Uno lands with an uppercut that bounces Doyle off the cage and back into range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Doyle slips a straight right by Uno.#T1# A jab from Doyle misses. Uno comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A slow jab from Uno misses its intended target. Doyle closes the distance and lands a one-two. Uno throws a hook to the side of Doyle's head but Doyle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Doyle looks like he wants to counter punch here. Uno is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The fighters circle momentarily. Uno darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A swing and a miss from Doyle. Uno showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Doyle.

Doyle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Uno. Uno goes for a high kick. It partially lands. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Doyle in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Doyle blocks a jab. Uno throws a leg kick which misses Doyle's front leg but catches the back leg as Doyle tries to avoid it. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Doyle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Uno - the referee stops the clock and Doyle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Uno. Doyle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Uno scores with a punch to the head. Nice jab there from Uno. #T2# Uno scores with a jab to the head.
Uno is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Doyle can do to turn this around? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice body punch from Uno. Uno misses with an uppercut. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Doyle might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Uno has got the better of the exchanges. #R1# Por tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Uno appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Uno lands a leg kick that knocks Por off balance momentarily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Por has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Uno connects with a right hand. Por shakes it off.#CUT#It looks like Rob Por has been cut. Por walks into a left hand. Por tries to clinch up but Uno circles away and keeps his distance. Por tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uno swats him away and circles back towards the center. Por fails with a takedown attempt. Por takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#CL# Sagdiyev has managed to clinch.
