Dyavol sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Johnson's guard. Dyavol not doing much here.
Johnson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dyavol working the head and body with strikes. Dyavol is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dyavol performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyavol passes to full mount! Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dyavol on the ground.
