#R1# Rivera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ngata counters with a straight right hand.#CUT2#It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut. Rivera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rivera darts in trying to clinch and Ngata makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rivera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ngata manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rivera is breathing heavily.#TD2# Ngata feints and as Rivera raises his hands in defense, Ngata changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rivera is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ngata dives into side control.
#REVR# Ngata scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rivera is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ngata can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

#R1# Bear has a takedown stuffed. Ngata throws a body kick that misses. #TD# Bear shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bear showed some decent athleticism there. Bear sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ngata defending well though. Bear thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ngata's head. Bear is nestled in close to Ngata, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ngata is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bear lands strikes from half guard. Bear works his way into side control. Bear lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Ngata on the wrong end of some ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ngata can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bear landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bear in side control lands a decent elbow. #T1# Ngata taking punishment in the form of punches.

Ngata wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Sloppy strikes from Blackwood. Those never looked like landing. Blackwood throws a combination that misses #TD# and Ngata counters with a nice double leg into guard. Blackwood wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ngata is now in half guard. Blackwood wants to control but Ngata is keeping busy and won't allow it. Blackwood wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ngata keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ngata moves into full mount! Blackwood won't be happy about that! Blackwood is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Davenport misses the jab. Ngata keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davenport. A punch combination from Ngata misses. It looked like Davenport wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Davenport connects with a right hand. Ngata shakes it off. Ngata is looking to clinch but Davenport is avoiding it.
Ngata shoots for a double leg takedown but Davenport sprawls well. He's pushed Ngata's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ngata ducks under a wild hook from Davenport. Ngata with a lazy takedown attempt and Davenport connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Davenport throws the left hand but Ngata avoids the punch easily. Elias Davenport seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ngata blocks a jab. Ngata gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ngata moves to clinch but Davenport breaks away and Davenport counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Davenport swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#T1# Ngata staying out of range there. Ngata blocks a jab. Ngata moves away from the strike by Davenport. Davenport misses with a looping right. Davenport throws a hook but Ngata avoids it easily. Ngata fails with the takedown. Elias Davenport has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sato Ngata. Davenport throws a shot from downtown. Ngata moves away and avoids it. Davenport misses with a straight right. Davenport loads up on a big right hand but Ngata slips the punch. Ngata shoots in for a takedown but Davenport shows good takedown defense. Davenport throws a jab but it's blocked by Ngata. Ngata steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Davenport. Davenport connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ngata. Ngata circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Davenport swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#T2# Ngata uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Davenport. Ngata slips under a jab from Davenport. Ngata looks winded! Ngata ducks under a wild hook from Davenport. Decent striking displayed by Davenport there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ngata looks to land a combination but Davenport avoids it well. Davenport was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Davenport catches Ngata with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Davenport throws out a loose jab but Ngata uses good head movement to avoid it. Davenport is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Davenport connects with a right hand. Ngata shakes it off. Ngata moves away from the strike by Davenport. Davenport misses with a looping left. Ngata slips under a jab.#T3# Davenport throws a hook but Ngata blocks it. Davenport throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ngata on the side of the head. Davenport getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Davenport swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ngata.#KD# Davenport feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ngata sprawling to the canvas! Ngata rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Davenport finish him?!
#ROC#Ngata is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Davenport ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Ngata out cold! The fight is over!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ngata in particular looking to stall. Vailine tries to get to full guard but Ngata has control of the leg. #SUB2# Vailine actively working from the bottom here.#SUB2# Vailine looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ngata working some ground and pound from close in. Ngata postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vailine on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vailine doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

#TD# Ngata shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kaveri napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kaveri is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ngata off and has taken his back! Ngata knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaveri on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#SUB2# Kaveri has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ngata! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kaveri gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Tsering changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#CL2# Ngata takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsering wants a takedown but no success here.

Ngata working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kosen. Ngata preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ngata is trying to keep Kosen in close.

Grip is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ngata wants to stand but Grip has his arm trapped. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Zing throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ngata's waist but Ngata gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zing off to one side. Ngata tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A counter left hand to the body from Zing misses its target.#TD2# Ngata closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zing has one of Ngata's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Zing tries to control but Ngata manages to take his back.#SUB2# Ngata looking for the choke from the back. Ngata controlling from the back. Zing is really stuck here.
