Stilera shoots in and gets a takedown into Lozano's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lozano can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lozano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stilera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stilera passes Lozano's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Stilera is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lozano can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stilera tries a body shot but Stallin blocks it.
Stilera keeps control of Stallin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD#
Stallin gets control of Stilera's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stallin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stallin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB#

Stilera tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Stallin cranks the arm and Stilera screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stilera, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
