enabling Ol to counter with a crisp jab.

and Ol counters with a nice body shot.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Ol unleashes a big counter combination but Smith bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Smith wants to clinch but Ol slips to the side#KD2#

Smith throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Phintanilyo crashing down! Phintanilyo tries to stagger back to his feet but Smith just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Phintanilyo asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Some wild striking there from Lee.

Lee gets caught napping as Smith dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but Smith passes into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Smith might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T1##SUB2#

Smith slips a straight right by Timo.
Smith blocks a jab.
Smith defending well as Timo loads up on a big left hand.
Timo throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Smith tries to clinch up but Timo circles away and keeps his distance.
Timo throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith is looking to counter with a body kick.
Smith staying out of range there.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Timo is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Timo circles away and we're back to standing.
Timo misses with an uppercut.
Smith thinks about countering with a head kick.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Timo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
