Ewing has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tecumseh is trying to keep an underhook but Ewing manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Still in half guard, Ewing seems content to control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like Ewing might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#REF3#

Duke flicks out a counter leg kick but Ewing steps away.
Ewing tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Duke counters with a left and a right that stings Ewing.
Duke lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.#TD#
Ewing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duke looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ewing content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Ewing's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T1#
