Quarto stuffs the takedown.
Quarto lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gore takes a step back to recover.
Quarto lands a jab to the head.
Gore fails with a takedown attempt.
Gore looks to throw a body kick
and Quarto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gore shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dak Gore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Quarto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Quarto is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Gore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Paramount darts in trying to clinch
and Gore counters with a left to the body.
No luck for Paramount with that takedown attempt. #TD#
Gore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Paramount was covering up waiting for the punch and Gore finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB#
Paramount wants to control position but Gore is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Paramount here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
