In his post fight interview, Billy Gentry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Khalidov misses with a takedown attempt - Hokano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Khalidov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Hokano counters with a crisp one two that drops Khalidov! Hokano thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Khalidov to his feet! Khalidov is in big trouble!
Hokano cracks Khalidov with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Khalidov tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hokano pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Khalidov is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malosi Hokano!
