La Forge ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
La Forge connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
La Forge cracks a nice hook into Wiggins's ribs.
Wiggins tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but La Forge defends well and Wiggins ends up having to push La Forge into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
La Forge bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wiggins's head backwards.#KD#
La Forge drops Wiggins with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wiggins looks back up at him and smiles so La Forge waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

La Forge lands with a big right hook that stumbles Wiggins - he's out on his feet here! La Forge follows up with another monster hook that separates Wiggins from consciousness! Wiggins falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! La Forge stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zack Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiggins cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Wiggins on that attempt.
A punch combination from Jackson misses.
Wiggins staying out of range there.
Wiggins feinted with a counter takedown.
Jackson dips to his left and cracks Wiggins with an uppercut!#KD2#
Jackson drops Wiggins with a beautiful combination! Wiggins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jackson is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wiggins.
Oh Wiggins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marvin Wiggins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wiggins shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wiggins seems to have got his legs back now.
Wiggins tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Wiggins throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
Wiggins walks straight into a right hand from Jackson - that's dropped him! Jackson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wiggins from any more punishment! Wiggins complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A very excited looking Zack Jackson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |
