Tumminen is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Afalal has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Tumminen has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Afalal taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Tumminen doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Vash shoots in for a double leg but Banz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Vash shoots for a takedown but Banz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Vash backs off Banz throws a huge counter combo but Vash manages to avoid it all.

Banz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Banz. Those never looked like landing.
Vash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banz's waist but Banz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vash off to one side.
Banz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Vash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
