As Gutierrez backs off Rivera throws a huge counter combo but Gutierrez manages to avoid it all.
Rivera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gutierrez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rivera as he jumps to the side.
Gutierrez throws a series of punches but Rivera avoids them all with ease.
Rivera is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rivera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
