Edwards fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Coleman to the ground. Edwards is now in Coleman's guard.
Edwards won't allow Coleman to sweep him here.
Coleman is adopting a defensive guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Edwards working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Coleman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Edwards manages to get himself to full guard. #REVR#
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coleman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Edwards for as long as he can get away with.#T2#

Edwards takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders. #CUT#It looks like Arthur Edwards has been cut.
Edwards looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Resi swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Edwards throws a sloppy head kick and Kadyrov moves out of range easily.
Kadyrov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
