Rtrhh shoots and misses #CL#
and Head counters by moving into the clinch.
Rtrhh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Head avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rtrhh lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Rtrhh tries to pull guard but Head won't allow it.
We've been hearing reports that Head has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hyu Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sgg Rtrhh.
Rtrhh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Head is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#TD#
Head drags the fight down to the ground.
Head utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rtrhh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Head wants to sweep here but Rtrhh controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rtrhh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Head is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rtrhh stuffs the takedown attempt from Head. Head gets slowly back to his feet. #T2#
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rtrhh fails with a takedown attempt.
Head swats away the attempt to clinch by Rtrhh.
Head defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rtrhh.
Head goes for a double leg but Rtrhh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rtrhh continues to drive forward.
Rtrhh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Rtrhh is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Head is defending well for now.

Rtrhh unloads a knee to the mid-section. Head lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Rtrhh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Head taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Head has Rtrhh pressed against the cage, preventing Rtrhh from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rtrhh prevents Head from breaking the clinch.
Head has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rtrhh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Head walks away with a smile on his face. Rtrhh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Head shoots in looking for a takedown. Rtrhh tries to sprawl out of it but Head keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rtrhh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #T4#

Rtrhh pushes Head off but Head dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Head tries to advance to mount but Rtrhh denies him. #SUB#
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Head tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rtrhh is trying to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hyu Head dominated that round.
That's time! Head's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2#
Rtrhh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rtrhh dives in and grabs Head's left leg, looking for a takedown. Head pushes down on Rtrhh's head and hops out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rtrhh.
Rtrhh lands with a right hand.
Head shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rtrhh as he avoids it easily.
Head avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Head clinches up with Rtrhh and pushes him back against the cage.
Head is trying to break the clinch but Rtrhh has him pressed against the cage.

Rtrhh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Head wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SUB#
Rtrhh wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Head has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rtrhh's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rtrhh is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Head!

A less than humble Hyu Head misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. |
