Roman Welch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Welch looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Veainu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Welch with the counter takedown but Veainu avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Welch 's head but he takes it in his stride.#KD#
Veainu drops Welch with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Welch looks back up at him and smiles so Veainu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed. #ROC#Welch is rocked!
Welch walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Welch limp body while Veainu jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
