Moody looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Moody gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Traumen counters with a one-two to the body.
We've been told by Traumen's head coaches at Champion Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A jab from Traumen does it's job there.#CUT#It looks like Dennis Moody has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Traumen, as that shot connected. #CL2#

Traumen throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Moody stumbling backwards into the cage! Moody bounces back off the cage towards Traumen, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Traumen lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Traumen celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Lucas Traumen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
