A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Quan in particular looking to stall.
Quan lands a big elbow - Frieberg is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Quan!

A relieved looking Ming Quan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Quan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kruger defends it nicely.
Kruger counters with a body kick.
Quan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kruger was well out of range. Poor timing from Quan.
Kruger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quan as he avoids it easily.

Quan closes the distance and clinches.
Quan is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ming Quan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Kruger.

We've been hearing good reports from Quan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Luke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Luke keeps the fight on the outside.
Quan swings for the body but Luke moves out of range.
Luke slips a jab from Quan.
Quan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Quan tries to clinch up.
Luke dips to his left and cracks Quan with an uppercut!
Luke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Quan misses with a wild body shot.
Luke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
