Miao decides to stand back up. Miao steps back and let's Gomi get back to his feet.

Miao shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gomi's guard.

Miao seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gomi for as long as he can get away with.#SUB#

Miao is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gomi is just riding it out for now. Miao eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miao in particular looking to stall.
Miao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Verdugo drives through with a takedown into Miao's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Miao is looking to cinch up a triangle. Verdugo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Miao's body to avoid the submission. Miao has instead reached around Verdugo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Miao arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
