It seemed like Crymble was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Ewan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Crymble shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Crymble's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL2#
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crymble, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Smith scores with a nice short uppercut.
Crymble tries to pull guard but Smith won't allow it.

Smith jumps guard and drags Crymble to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Crymble wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. #SU#
Crymble decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Smith, up you get!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Crymble.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Trejean Crymble.
