Shark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hathoffsson's waist but Hathoffsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shark off to one side.
Hathoffsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hathoffsson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hathoffsson checks a leg kick.
Shark walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shark throws a nice looking combination but Hathoffsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hathoffsson feints and then cracks Shark's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shark down.

Shark feints a jab promting Hathoffsson to slip. Shark then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hathoffsson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shark tries to move into range but Hathoffsson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Hathoffsson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Shark's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hathoffsson under the eye.
Shark lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Hathoffsson falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

David Shark spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |
