Lutter shoots for a double leg takedown but Centoro sprawls well. He's pushed Lutter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lutter.
Centoro's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Centoro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Centoro scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lutter doesn't seem bothered though.

A jab and a right hook connect and Lutter buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Lutter!! Lutter is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Centoro throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Lutter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gerritzen's waist but Gerritzen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lutter off to one side.

and Gerritzen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Lutter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Monkey Business in the buildup to the fight.
Lutter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gerritzen tries to avoid it but Lutter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gerritzen to the ground. Gerritzen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lutter or perhaps it was just good defense by Gerritzen, which made it look bad.
