Cane wants to pass the guard but Ito is defending well.
Cane is looking to pass Ito's guard but actually Ito recovers to full guard.
Cane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ito swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cane is looking to pass into half guard but Ito pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ito is in guard.#REVB#

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ito doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ito manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB#

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cane is staying active underneath Ito, who seems content to just control the action from this position. #REF3#

Cane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ito looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cane is working to tighten his grip on Ito's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ito has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cane is really squeezing tight and eventually Ito passes out! Cane breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
