and El Monstro counters with a crisp one two that drops Kunie! El Monstro thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kunie to his feet! Kunie is in big trouble!
We've been hearing reports that Kunie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#TD#
Kunie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kunie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brit's waist but Brit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kunie off to one side.
Big Brit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kota Kunie.#T1#

Brit creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kunie's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kunie drops to his knees and Brit pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
