Grimes is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Simbolon frees his head nicely. Oh but Grimes has switched to an armbar! Simbolon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Niaz seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Niaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Simbolon throws an overhand right that lands on Niaz 's shoulder, as Niaz tries to avoid the shot.
Niaz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Niaz throws a one two combo.
Niaz tries to clinch but Simbolon moves out of range.
Niaz blocks a jab.
Niaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Simbolon as he avoids it easily.

Simbolon has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Niaz is on him like a limpet, forcing Simbolon back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Simbolon is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Niaz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Niaz is out cold! Simbolon holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Johnson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
