We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Volkanovski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Volkanovski throws a punch but it's blocked by Soon.
Volkanovski is trying to force a seperation but Soon has the dominant position.
Soon blocks an elbow strike from Volkanovski.
Soon is pressed up against the cage. Volkanovski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Soon down to the mat. Soon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
