And Sanchez tries to counter it with a takedown but Fermier pushes his down on his head and steps out.#TD2#
Fermier gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fermier is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sanchez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fermier's body to avoid the submission. Fermier has instead reached around Sanchez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fermier arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Sanchez takes one on the button.
Sanchez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Davis looks to land a right hand but Sanchez moved out of range.
Sanchez with the counter takedown but Davis avoids it easily.

Davis is looking to regain half guard here but Sanchez keeps moving and retains side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Davis to score with a decent uppercut.
Jackson Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sanchez lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Davis quite badly. Davis pulls Sanchez in close trying to recover. Sanchez postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Davis on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Davis doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Little Dove fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Sanchez square on the jaw! Damn, Sanchez is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
