Turles closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Uppercut's guard.
Turles is pushing down on Uppercut's leg trying to pass to half guard. Uppercut is fighting to maintain full guard but Turles has managed to sneak the leg through.#SUB#
Turles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uppercut is just riding it out for now. Turles eventually gives up the hold. #SUB2#
Uppercut looking for submissions off his back.
Uppercut has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at MY YARD Resurrect. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Turles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Uppercut looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Turles! Submission of the night perhaps?

Uppercut shoots in for a double leg but Spangler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Uppercut tries to clinch but Spangler moves out of range.
Spangler throws a body shot but no joy.
Spangler scores with a three punch combo!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Uppercut is holding his hands too far apart here. Spangler throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Uppercut is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
