We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Brez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cardoso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
Cardoso has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cardoso.

Cardoso is looking to cinch up a triangle. Brez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cardoso's body to avoid the submission. Cardoso has instead reached around Brez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cardoso arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
