Deckus tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
James drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Deckus defends it well.
Deckus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one.

James stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and James wants it to stay on the feet.

James has hold of Deckus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Deckus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Deckus has left one of his arms exposed and James doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Deckus screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Chimaev closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
