Blaine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Parker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blaine - the referee stops the clock and Parker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blaine. Parker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.#TD2#
Blaine dives in and scores a takedown into Parker's guard.

Blaine slaps away a takedown attempt from Parker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blaine appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Blaine tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blaine wants to clinch up but Parker keeps it at a distance.
Blaine moves in looking to clinch but Parker pushes him off.
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Blaine, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Blaine against the cage but Blaine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonnus Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parker lands a big elbow - Blaine is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Parker!

Velez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#CL#
Velez tries to keep at a distance but Blaine has taken the fight into the clinch.
Blaine stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Velez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Velez's coach down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Velez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#TD#

Blaine tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Velez.
Velez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blaine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
