Laird blocking the ground and pound attempt from Doc.
Doc is nestled in close to Laird, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Laird regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Doc.
Doc stops Laird from standing up.
Laird looking to hit a scissor sweep but Doc is one step ahead there.
Doc trying to control but Laird is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laird pulls Doc in close to prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
