Penn Jr darts in looking for a takedown but Boxer gets double underhooks and turns Penn Jr into the cage.
BJ Penn Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn Jr takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Penn Jr on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Boxer. Boxer obviously looking to wear him down.
Boxer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. #CL#

Penn Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Penn Jr.
Penn Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boxer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Penn Jr somewhat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Penn Jr.
Boxer looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penn Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boxer sprawls well. Boxer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Penn Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Vvv must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Vvv wants to stand but Penn Jr is controlling his posture from full guard. #SUB#
Penn Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vvv can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vvv is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
