Carpenter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hansen defend it? Carpenter steps over the head and cranks it - Hansen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Carpenter !

Carpenter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around No's waist but No gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carpenter off to one side.
No lands a jab.
Carpenter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
No displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carpenter .
Carpenter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but No avoids it really well and circles away.
No was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
No definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hells No has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Carpenter .
Carpenter tries to score a power double leg takedown but No sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carpenter somewhat.
No tries to counter with a takedown but Carpenter is quick to defend against it.
No throws out a loose jab but Carpenter uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Hoca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hoca connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Carpenter has his takedown stuffed
and Hoca counters with a left to the body.
Carpenter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hoca counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hoca has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Carpenter . That's going to take a lot out of him.
