Event: BKFC 12 - The Tank vs Jackson

Juiced Dilly had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 149.5, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Wang Wei was cancelled.

Armstrong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wei circles away quickly and effectively.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wei has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wei lands a brutal uppercut that launches Armstrong off his feet! Armstrong tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

After the fight, Wang Wei was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Chad Armstrong had this to say: 'Tell your cousin i said "hi!"'.

Wei got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoogo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wei has managed to get both his arms back between Hoogo's legs - danger averted.
Wei wants to get up but he can't break Hoogo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #SUB2#
Wei wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hoogo's closed guard. He's half up but Hoogo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hoogo pivots and extends the arm, Wei falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hoogo! Well done that man!

Wei definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Peirce wants to stand but Wei is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mountain Dew gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Wei gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
