It looked like Ouellette was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shaw.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaw has eaten all the pies!
Shaw drops his hands momentarily. Ouellette doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Shaw staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Shaw doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abdublov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ouellette has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ouellette and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ouellette tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Abdublov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Abdublov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
